The One They Reach For First

Everyone has a mug they favour. It's rarely the newest one, and it's almost never the plain one. That's the thinking behind this small range: ceramics with enough pattern and weight to become the one that gets picked out of the cupboard each morning.

The mugs come from Carla Dinnage Designs. Their Tartan & Bloom design layers a check with a floral motif, while Le Stripe keeps things simpler, and both are carried in blue, green, and pink. We haven't made them, we've selected them, because the colours sit well with the flowers going out of the shop each day.

An easy gift on its own

A mug is a good answer to the gift you need to get right without going overboard. It suits a work friend, a neighbour who fed the cat, or a teacher at the end of term. Mix two colourways for a couple, or pick a single one for someone who already knows what they like.

Better still, with flowers

Sent with a bouquet, a mug turns a delivery into something they keep. It's a gentle option for someone unwell or working from home, where a full arrangement can feel like a lot but a small bunch and a good mug lands exactly right. Our team can package the two together so it arrives as one gift.
