Rings
Opal and sun designs, including forgiving cuff styles
Rings are the hardest piece to buy for someone else and the loveliest to get right. Ours keep to gold tones with opal and sun detail, including open cuff styles that aren't tied to a single size. Part of our jewellery range.
Small in Number, Easy to Love
We keep the ring selection deliberately short. Rings are the most personal thing on the jewellery counter and the hardest to buy blind, so rather than carry a wall of them we hold a few we'd happily wear ourselves.
The pieces come from Bo and Ho, in the same warm gold tones as the rest of our jewellery. Opal set designs, sun motifs, nothing so ornate it dates. We select them, we don't make them, and we choose shapes that sit flat enough for everyday wear rather than catching on everything.
The sizing problem, solved
Sizing is what stops most people buying a ring as a gift, which is why the cuff styles matter. A cuff sits open rather than closing into a full band, so it flexes across a range of fingers instead of committing to one measurement. If you're buying for someone whose hands you've never measured, start there.
For a closed band, it's worth a phone call. Our team on Oxford Street would far rather spend two minutes on the phone than have a ring come back because it wouldn't go past a knuckle.
When a ring is the right call
Rings suit people you know well: a partner, a sister, a close friend whose hands you've seen a thousand times. They mark something. If you're buying for a colleague or a new friend, our bracelets or earrings are the kinder choice, because they'll be worn without a second thought.
We carry only a handful of each design and often just one, so the selection turns over. Come and try them on in Bulimba, or we'll send one across Brisbane's inner east with flowers.
